Thorbjorn Jagland, Chairman of the Nobel Prize Committee, may have done the citizens of the United States of America a big favor. The favor being that we now have another hint of the socialist proclivities of our great "Change You Can Believe In" President, Barack Hussein Obama. Of course it takes a naive and uniformed voter to not know his socialist tendencies already.

Our great President has been waving giant red flags about his affinity to Socialism starting with the campaign comments to Joe the Plumber. His Czars are mostly a collection of radicals, socialists and community organizers a.k.a. rebel rousing thugs. At the very least his Czar picks are raving liberals and leftovers from the radicals and college student movements of the 60's and 70's.

Looking to the future, what will be the legacy of the “Anointed One” and what will be the title of his obligatory book after his term in office ends. May I suggest a book title “Trashing The Constitution, Article by Article”. His legacy could be “The transformational President that parlayed his lack of experience and socialist dogma into destroying the economy and the social fabric that held the country together from it’s founding in 1776”.

Joe Wilson. Is he a Sage or a Goat? No offense intended to goats. President Obama’s September 19, 2009 address to Congress on heath care reform was at least memorable.

The beauty of Joe Wilson's emotional "you lie" outburst is that it made me laugh. The best humor always has an element of truth. Also, the look on Speaker Pelosi's face was priceless. President Obama’s facial expressional looked as if he had suddenly passed too close to an open cesspool.

Obama seemed to be off of his normal smooth speech cadence. Maybe he had some jitters about having to deliver the most convincing speech of his term in office. The "you lie" outburst was symbolic of the town hall protests were protestors were almost universally skeptical or downright hostile to the President's plan. Any rational thinking person, most liberals excluded, has to question the veracity of Obama’s pronouncements were he is constantly changing the terminology. First we had the “Government Option” which changed to “Regional Co-Opts” and now to “Insurance Exchange”. The “Regional Co-Opts” will presumably still be in play to help small business, according to Obama.

The public smack down of Governor Palin and Senator McCain was very low class. Does anyone want to guess as to the author of those comments? Rahm Emannuel would be a good guess. 

Obama said the Medicare Trust Fund would not be used to fund his health care legislation. Please, where is this Medicare Trust Fund? Perhaps the Medicare Trust Fund is in same place where the Social Security Trust Fund or “lockbox” is held? Are promissory notes from this out-of control Federal government very comforting? Just ask the Chinese government that is sending explicit concerns about our Federal debt, spending, and excess printing of money.

The health care debate rages on with little attention being paid to the real reason for the Democrat’s plan. Democrats want control over the lives and money of as many citizens as possible not to mention the legions of Federal employees needed to administer the plan. Health care nationalization has been the “holy grail” of liberal schemes for generations. Obama and the Democrat controlled Congress is selling their scheme as improved universal health care when in reality it is a blatant power grab where the whole concept is one BIG LIE.
